Irma Kapsenberg, CD(DONA) is a Certified Birth Doula and completed her training in 2005. She is a retired elementary school teacher, originally from The Netherlands where her two oldest children were born at home. Her third baby was born in a US hospital. She believes that birth is a beautiful, personal, and natural part of life. Her many years of dog training experience can help you prepare your dog for your baby as well. Irma is also available as a postpartum doula to her birth doula clients. |

Jenney received her doula training in 2003 at Birthingway College of Midwifery, where she was also a midwifery student from 2004 through 2005. She studies yoga, has trained as a massage therapist, and is currently studying herbal medicine for women's health under Aviva Romm. Jenney has attended births at home and in the hospital. She has a deep trust in the process of birth, and strongly believes that women's bodies are capable of birthing babies. Jenney knows that just as no two women are alike, so their needs during labor and birth are not exactly the same. She strives to honor those differences in her work with women and their families. |

Megan has been passionate about birth for as long as she can remember! She experienced gentle births with her own children in Australia, supported birthing women for several years in Germany, and has been practicing as a DONA-trained birth doula since 2006 in Corvallis and Albany. She is a biologist with a MS in ovarian physiology, and speaks German. Megan sees birth as a rite of passage for parents, and believes in every woman's ability to give birth from a place of empowerment. She lives in Corvallis with her husband and daughters. She is currently accepting clients with due dates of September 1st and later.

Becky Bricker, CD(DONA) has been a DONA-trained birth doula since 2001 and has been working with laboring moms and their babies since 1992. Her experience is in hospital births and her passion is labor and birth. Becky's goal is to help moms and their partners work through the birth process and try to achieve the experience they are hoping for. She has 2 adult daughters and a grandson, and lives in Philomath with her husband, Bruce. |

Abby Bain is a childbirth educator and DONA Certified Birth Doula. She has two daughters who were both born naturally. Abby and her husband Denny grew up in the Corvallis area and love raising their children here. Abby is bilingual with a BA in Spanish. She has experience in home and hospital births as well as with midwives, obstetricians and family practice doctors. Abby is confident that children are a blessing from the Lord and would be honored to assist you as her birth doula! |

Charissa Burnside is mother to three young children, having experienced a hospital birth, an unassisted water homebirth, and a midwife-assisted homebirth. She has successfully nursed all 3 into toddler-hood. Charissa understands and appreciates the joy and stress that the childbearing year brings. Her goal is to bring support, knowledge, and compassion to families. Charissa's training is through DONA as a birth (June 2005) and postpartum (June 2007) doula, working towards certification. She is also completing the Happiest Baby on the Block educators program to provide a variety of baby calming techniques. |

She has a retired husband and three adult, naturally-birthed, children, one of whom recently made Ruth a grandmother for the first time. Ruth is spending time with family and hopes to return to birth work soon. |

Sarah Doggett has been passionately studying birth and babies since her first pregnancy seven years ago. Stacey Eshelman Lindsay, CD, PCD(DONA), is a DONA-trained and certified birth and postpartum doula. Stacey has been working with pregnant moms and new families since 2002. She is passionate about the transition into parenthood and supporting families on this journey. Stacey has two daughters, one birthing in a hospital and the other at home. Stacey is also a Birthing From Within Mentor and custom baby sling maker. Stacey teaches 'Birthing From Within' childbirth classes, 'Birthin Again' classes and a variety of other classes based on natural and attachment parenting styles.
